Bill McDowell, President/owner and agent at the McDowell Insurance Agency has been a long term residence of Cazenovia. When Bill retired from the phone company, he decided to get into the insurance business, first working for Met Life in 1993. Then opening an agency in his home in 1996, C&R Insurance Agency. Three years later going off on his own and opening the McDowell Insurance Agency in 1999. Bill has decided to take a more reserved position in the agency, as he is enjoying his time being semi-retired.

Matthew McDowell, VP and agent at the McDowell Agency, is a life long resident of Cazenovia. He has been with the McDowell Agency since January of 2005. Matthew has been working in the insurance industry since 2005 and will begin taking over the McDowell Insurance Agency in the near future. He will be following in his fathers foot steps to bring Cazenovia the competitive prices of big city but the great customer service of the small town. And of course he's also making house calls just like his dad did for new clients. 
 

Deborah Stowell, office manager and agent at the McDowell Agency, is also a life long resident of Cazenovia. She has been with the McDowell Agency since May of 2002, Deborah has been working in the insurance industry since 1991.
